Web Games are free games you play in your regular Internet browser. Downloadable games are games you can purchase and keep on your computer. These games offer a rich gaming experience that you can play even when you’re not connected to the Internet. All downloadable games include a free trial.

Sometimes a game doesn’t fit into my screen. How can I see the entire game without scrolling?
You may need to adjust your computer monitor settings. If your computer monitor is set at 800x600 pixels or less, you may not be able to see the entire screen.
  • On Windows computers, right click on your desktop and select Properties. Then select Display Properties. Set your monitor to be a minimum of 1024x768.
  • On Apple computers, visit Display Properties and set the resolution for a minimum of 1024x768.

The Web Game I want to play seems to load, but nothing happens. How can I start the game?
You may need to update the Flash player software that powers our free online games. The player is free and it only takes a minute or two to download. To update your free Flash player software, please visit Adobe's website here:

For best results, you may need to quit and reopen your browser or restart your computer after installation.

What do I do if I am still having trouble accessing a Web Game?
If you have already updated your free Flash player software and have restarted your computer, it is most likely that the game problems you’re experiencing are caused by an issue with your current Flash player.


If you are having trouble, the first step is to uninstall and re-install a clean copy of the Adobe Flash Player.

NOTE: If you are using an Apple computer, some Web Games and Downloadable Game Free Trial Demos may not load on your computer. This is because a small number of Web Games and Downloadable Game Free Trial Demos require the Active X plug-in, which is not available on Apple computers.

How do I change my avatar or username?
You always have the choice to use your Facebook name and profile picture OR you can select a new screen name and avatar just for Animal Planet Games.

To make a change:
  • 1.   Click on the “My Profile” button on the games menu at the top of the page.
  • 2.   Click the “Edit Profile” link under your current screen name. This is at the top left of your screen, right under the Welcome! greeting.
  • 3.   Choose either “Use my Facebook name and profile picture” or “Select a new screen name and avatar.”
  • 4.   If you choose “Use my Facebook name and profile picture,” you can enter your new screen name and select an avatar.
  • 5.   Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen to keep your changes, or select “Cancel” to go back to your original settings.

What if I can’t remember my password?
The game section of Animal Planet uses Facebook for login. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can Sign Up for a free account with Facebook here. If you have forgotten your password, Facebook provides prompts to retrieve your account info, including password.
